When owner and creative director Rebecca Wolkenstein approached us to develop a redesign of the bespoke magazine Sohi logo we were flattered.
Sohi meaning Souther Highlands, a region of NSW about 1.5 hours south of Sydney full of budding and established artists, artisans and boutique stores. Sohi aimed to capture this web of talent and produce a local rag with tell all tales of the creative happenings of the local folk.
Sad to say the magazine is no more however it touched many peoples hearts and was a pleasure to read.
Our breif was to work from the original logo which was stunning as it was however for reasons unknown they wanted to move forward.
We aimed to capture the web of talent whilst being empathetic to the original identity.
