On Sunday afternoon, we launched a project very close to our hearts, one we've been working on for what feels like a lifetime. The National Project. A Pony Rider initiative, giving back to our parks + wildlife!
An afternoon of winter sunshine, open fires, live music, grazing tables celebrating indigenous ingredients and an excellent crew made the launch of our baby The National Project a fantastic event. For a full rundown on The National Project jump over here.
We are so appreciative of the collaboration we have made with a local Aboriginal business Bush to Bowl, which has guided us in honouring Aboriginal culturally significant processes and ways of being.
They worked with us by Acknowledging Country and held a Smoking Ceremony at the launch of our new initiative, The National Project. Smoking Ceremonies have been a significant part of Aboriginal culture for thousands of years to aid in cleansing people and spaces. Therefore, we at Ponyrider thought it was fitting to hold this ceremony to help the successful launch of The National Project.
Including the adventurous crew that made to time to support us on Sunday, we want to give a huge thanks to these guys @stoneandwood @balterbrewers @modusoperandibrewing @adventuremerchants @bush_to_bowl @parks_foundation @ten
