We know your thinking, a ham(!!) that's a huge undertaking for Chrissy day, but really the time and effort falls back on the oven, not you. The prep is quick and the outcome will be delicious, we can assure you. As Jane shares, "Everyone asks me what I glaze my Christmas ham with. So this year I will share my recipe. It's not full of booze, just simple sparkling apple juice, maple with some Christmas flavours thrown in. So simple to make, and adds a sweet Christmas spice to your table."

See the below recipe to create the Ultimate Christmas Ham using the Sticky Piggy Maple Glaze!
1. Preheat the oven to 180 or 160 fan-forced. Remove skin from ham, by using a small sharp knife to score the skin around the hock and down one side of the ham. Using your fingers gently ease away the skin.
2. Score fat in a diamond pattern (don't cut all the way through to flesh). Place ham into a deep pan lined with baking paper.
3. Baste with some of the glaze. Tip a half glass of water into the base of the pan. Cook for 1 1/2 hours basting and turning the ham ever 15 minutes, till golden and sticky. Wrap a piece of muslin, or hessian around the hock, secure a stick of rosemary with a ribbon. Carve and enjoy.
