About the Hut Project
From the rugged outdoors to commercial spaces, Pony Rider produces products that are creatively crafted to make any space feel like home. No matter what your shelter is we totally dig it, so it made sense for us to help fund restoration work on the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Walking Huts. But it’s more than just about restoring these incredible heritage huts, these huts are located amongst nature, and we are big believers in spending time in nature to help improve mood, mental health, and emotional well-being. It’s a win win win!
Our first stop in the Hut Restoration project is to fund restoration work on Bullocks Hut, which is located within the Kosciuszko National Park. Some places are so remarkable, they seem tailor made for the pages of history books. Bullocks Hut, not far from Jindabyne and Thredbo in Kosciuszko National Park, is just such a place.
Partnering With Community
In terms of the actual physical restoration work, we’ve decided to leave the project running to the teams that are currently working in this space, so we partnered with the Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife (FNPW) to run these programs.
